Do your producers have questions about the claim process? After speaking with a claim specialist by calling 800.628.9797, the policyowner will be sent a claim packet. The policyowner will then complete and submit the claim packet, which includes the Insured's Statement, Attending Physician's Statement and Authorization to Obtain Information form.

The Benefit Increase Rider allows policyowners to apply to purchase additional coverage every three years, without medical underwriting, to keep pace with income increases. With the launch of The Standard’s newest IDI product, Platinum Advantage, all increases with an effective date after February 28 in approved states, will be issued as a Platinum Advantage policy.
