RMD Notifications Coming in January

October 1, 2025

As 2025 wraps up and 2026 begins, we’ll send out Required Minimum Distribution notifications by the end of January.

We’ll mail information packets and forms to:

Contract owners who must start taking minimum distributions in 2026
Individuals who are 73 or older and haven’t chosen automatic distributions
Owners receiving payouts through other methods, like scheduled interest payments

If your client is already set up for automatic RMDs, they'll get a letter showing their 2026 RMD amount. Client RMD will be based on their end-of-year balance as of Dec. 31, 2025.
