Attention Rhode Island Producers

Starting on Nov. 1, 2025, Rhode Island's updated Replacement form 10443-RI (5/25) will be required for all Rhode Island replacements. This updated form now asks for comparison details between the existing and proposed contracts to meet revised regulatory requirements. 

Transition Rules:

• As of Nov. 1, 2025, the new form 10443-RI (5/25) for all Rhode Island replacements is available.
  • We’ll continue accepting the old form 10443 (11/12) until Nov. 30, 2025.
• Starting Dec. 1, 2025, only the new form will be accepted. Applications submitted with the old form after that date will be marked Not in Good Order, or NIGO.
   

Here’s How to Find the Forms: 

• Start at standard.com/annuities
• Use the dropdown menu on the left side of the page to select your distributor or select “Not affiliated with a distributor or distributor not listed.”
  • Select “Find Forms and Materials.”
  • Select the product you are selling and “Get PDF Forms Package.” The updated Rhode Island replacement form will show up in the list of new Business RI forms.
