Update to The Standard’s Rules of Engagement

We’ve had many discussions over the last couple of years in an attempt to define the right approach to our Rules of Engagement. The feedback has been varied with some partners in favor of keeping the Rules of Engagement, others wanting them dropped and variations in between. Given the feedback, we’ve chosen to leave the Rules of Engagement intact with two changes.

  • We won't consider GSI additions new business when determining if a relationship is active.
  • We added acquisitions and mergers among producers to our Rules of Engagement. We'll look closely at each case to determine the impact on distribution relationships.
