We understand that excellent customer service is important to keep your trust and your business. To that end, we regularly collect feedback from our distribution partners and clients to determine needs. This feedback helps us see how The Standard stacks up against the competition and where we can better serve you.

The result is meticulous service designed to meet your needs and expectations through all your interactions with us.

It starts with our sales team. They work with you and our underwriters to understand your client’s business needs. Together, they design personalized income protection solutions tailored to your client's unique needs  and crafted to work in tandem with the company's LTD.

When a final plan is accepted, our dedicated enrollment team steps in. They provide marketing, materials and administrative support to make GSI enrollment quick and easy. We use our Ready Enroll® online system to streamline enrollment, reducing time you and your clients spend on administration. This provides a turnkey enrollment solution, often within two weeks.

Once we enroll all eligible members, our account managers and billing specialists ensure smooth administration. This team enrolls new members as they become eligible. And they’re your first stop if questions or issues come up. At renewal time, they’ll help manage the annual review and coverage increase process. This will help you make sure your plans are doing what they’re designed to do: protecting eligible employees’ income to the target percentage or maximum benefit. They also help exiting employees keep their individual disability insurance policies when they move on to other employment. This helps deliver a positive transition experience.

Focused on Continuous Improvement

We regularly add capabilities and automation to our internal systems. We also look to improve our systems you use to track business with us. In The Standard’s Portal on standard.com, you can view your commission statements and your clients’ policies.

Recent Policy Inquiry Enhancements

We’ve added new capabilities to Policy Inquiry to provide more information. In Policy Inquiry, you can:

  • Search by policy number or name of insured to find all the details of an individual’s policy.
  • See all active and pending policies associated with a list bill number and then drill down into each policy for details.
  • Check the status of delivery requirements.
  • Export a list bill census to a MS Excel spreadsheet.

You’ll always find up-to-date information in Policy Inquiry because it’s continuously updated. Your account manager will reach out to you soon to walk through these new Policy Inquiry features.
