Planning Your Next Visit
Check your "Benefits Snapshot" in the member portal to help determine when to see the dentist for your next exam, cleaning or X-rays. There, you'll find your next eligible dates for these procedures and the benefit amounts you have available.
Pretreatment Estimates
When your dentist recommends a procedure or treatment plan, you can find out what’s covered and how much you’ll pay before you receive services. You’re not required to obtain a pretreatment estimate, but you may find one helpful for more costly procedures.
Want a Second Opinion?
Your plan may cover a professional consultation if you'd like another dentist's opinion on a recommended treatment plan. View your certificate of coverage for more detail. Log in to the member portal to view or download a copy, or contact us for assistance.
How Your Claims Are Paid
After we receive a claim for your dental visit, we'll send you an Explanation of Benefits, or EOB. The EOB shows the services billed, what your plan covers and any amount you may owe. We'll also send your dentist a similar statement. We'll mail you your EOB. You can sign up for paperless statements through your account on the member portal.
