New Platinum Advantage GSI Rates

We’re introducing new GSI rates effective Jan. 1, 2025! The new rates offer more pricing flexibility to compete in our target market with updated base rates for non-medical occupations. We’ve also removed modal factor loads for monthly, quarterly and semi-annual billing modes. These updated rates are available to quote as of today, Oct. 1, for new groups with a Jan. 1, 2025, or later effective date.

These rates are not yet available in California or South Carolina.

In-force groups with an original effective date prior to Jan. 1, 2025, will not be affected by the new rates. They will continue to use the prior rates for Platinum Advantage for all new hires. Renewal increases will continue to be processed using the individual’s existing product and rate version. This includes those written on a previous product, such as Protector Platinum^SM or Protector+^SM.
