Micah Rubenstein

Micah Rubenstein started his career at The Standard in 1995 as an associate Long Term Disability claim analyst. Since that time, he has held a series of progressively increasing leadership roles in both Short Term Disability and LTD.

Currently Micah is the vice president of LTD Claims and Disability Management Resources. This role encompasses operational leadership of group LTD and life waiver of premium claims, clinical and vocational resources and the special investigative unit. Over the course of his career, Micah has been an integral partner and leader of transformational changes, both operational and technological. This includes embracing automation and AI, while balancing customer service and risk management.
