Andrea Flaim

Andrea Flaim is the manager of Workplace Possibilities and ADAAA Services at The Standard, a role she has held since February 2024. Known for her dedication to accessibility and inclusion, Andrea has been instrumental in leading innovative accessibility projects and creating inclusive work environments for customers. Prior to The Standard, her journey began in 2017 as an HR business partner in distribution centers, where she developed a passion for assisting employees, particularly with medical accommodations. This led her to the Disability Services team, where she identified some of the first accommodations for blind individuals in operational settings. She became the U.S. blind and low vision, or BLV, program manager at a Fortune 5 company, building a team focused on accessibility for the blind and low vision community. Andrea’s efforts greatly improved workplace inclusivity, making the company one of the top U.S. companies to employ blind individuals. Now at The Standard, Andrea continues her commitment to making the workplace more accessible through accommodation services of all kinds. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, 2-year-old and newborn. She is also an avid reader and always looking for great book recommendations.
