Volunteers of America Oregon
Change lives by promoting self-determination, building communities and social justice.

From at-risk youth to survivors of domestic violence and recovering addicts, we provide supportive and empowering services and work with them to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.

What We Do

At VOA Oregon, we specialize in family safety, substance use disorder, behavioral health and reentry from the criminal justice system. For 130 years, we have been empowering individuals, families and communities in Oregon including the young people, men and women returning from prison, people with disabilities, domestic violence survivors and those recovering from addictions. Our work touches the mind, body, heart — and ultimately the spirit — of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services. As a volunteer, you contribute to helping these communities.
