For more than four decades, REACH Community Development has partnered with residents, neighborhoods and local leaders to build and preserve affordable homes across the Portland Metro Region and Southwest Washington.
What We Do
REACH creates opportunities for all people to thrive by developing and promoting equitable access to quality, affordable homes, supportive services and community. Through a relationship-driven approach that combines housing, resident services and economic empowerment, REACH helps thousands of people achieve greater stability, well-being and opportunity each year.
REACH serves a diverse community of individuals, families with children, people with special needs, those impacted by houselessness and elders. Over 3,300 people make their home in a REACH community. Founded in 1982, REACH stewards over 2,700 affordable apartment homes across the Portland metropolitan region. Our focus includes affordable housing development and management, support services that increase the economic stability of our residents and free home repairs and accessibility upgrades for low-income senior and disabled homeowners.
