What We Do
In 1983, POIC expanded on its workforce training program, by creating Rosemary Anderson High School (now RA Prep) — a community-based alternative school, named for its founding director. As new community needs arose, POIC expanded its offerings to provide culturally-specific wrap-around services.
Today, POIC's holistic service-delivery model serves over 3,000 youth, adults, and families each year by providing a wide range of support for those affected by poverty, homelessness, mental illness, and family instability.
