NW Dance Project is a world-class contemporary dance company established in Portland and dedicated to performing only original works with 300+ Portland premieres to-date, as well as offering diverse community dance classes for all.
What We Do
NW Dance Project performs four unique shows in Portland annually and tours nationally and internationally. We advance dance education, equity, and community engagement through our cost-free Dance Moves arts participation programs; ongoing classes for youth and adults; and special programs for aspiring professional dancers. Creation, rehearsals, classes, special projects and administration all occurs at our light and bright NE Portland Creative Center, which has grown to become a crucial multi-functional community resource and support center.
