Helping neighbors. Supporting self-reliance. Lifting spirits. Educating young and old. Across the community, for over a century, Neighborhood House delivers innovative and life-changing programs and services for people in need.

What We Do

Our vision ensures every neighbor has the support and community they need to thrive. As a leading nonprofit in SW Portland, we deliver transformative programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. We help children build a strong foundation through School Age, Head Start, and OCCA, support families in growing generational wealth, foster connection and well-being for older adults with our Senior Center, provide essential food through our Free Food Market and garden, and offer housing support — all to create a lasting impact in the community.
