Musicians On Call brings music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments.

Musicians On Call brings the healing power of music to patients, families and caregivers. By delivering performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their bed, we offer a dose of joy to life in a healthcare environment.

What We Do

Music-lovers and musicians 18 and older can join our mission with just a once-a-month commitment to deliver the benefits of music, lift spirits and create a positive environment for healing. We are partnered with the Portland VA Healthcare Center and the Providence Center for Medically Fragile Children. Volunteer Guides lead the musician through the experience of playing for patients and liaise with families and staff. Volunteer Musicians are local, professional-caliber musicians who play music for patients virtually and at the bedside.
