GiGi's Playhouse is a national network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers. Our mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all. We do this through the consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community, using a replicable playhouse model.
There's something I want people to understand about Down syndrome. Yes, we have developmental and intellectual disabilities, but that's not the whole story. We are people who just want to live alongside everyone else. We want to believe and achieve the things we dream about and contribute to the world.
