What We Do
At 5,200 acres and 200 acres respectively, Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park account for more than half of the natural space in Portland and play a significant role in helping local communities withstand, adapt to, and recover from the increasing effects of climate change. By stewarding Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park alongside people from local communities, FPC helps ensure that people have access to safe and expansive green spaces within the city of Portland.

The Forest Park Conservancy restores and protects Portland's 5,200-acre urban forest. This video tells our story. Thanks to BPN - Borders, Perrin, Norrander in Portland, Oregon for creating and producing this video.
I get excited to help people fall in love with, and recreate in, these incredible natural spaces inside Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park. Parks like these represent part of what makes our region livable, healthy, and fun. I look forward to working with you — our partners and community members — to increase access, address potential fire hazards, increase connectivity with other regional green spaces, and provide educational and volunteer opportunities for all to enjoy.
