The Standard's
Volunteer Expo

We connect Oregon with the world.

We believe that deeper global understanding is key to a more peaceful world; that there is no limit to what we can achieve when we are willing to reach across borders (whether oceans or comfort zones) to see our world with more compassion.

What We Do

WorldOregon is the hub where world-changing connections begin and grow. We accomplish our mission through: 1) Global Conversations: annual International Speaker Series, plus weekly and monthly forums on timely issues; 2) International Visitors: hosting international youth and adults (in-person or virtually) annually from 100 countries; and 3) Global Classroom: K-12 programs, reaching 14,000 students annually with culture boxes, Young Leaders in Action for teens, and educator forums on cultural literacy.

What We Need

  • Administrative Support/Clerical
  • Collecting/Sorting/Packaging
  • Consulting/Professional Services
  • Event Organizing
  • Fundraising/Campaigning
  • Public Relations/Marketing

  • Virtual: Ongoing

Thank you for considering volunteering for WorldOregon! We believe that our work to connect Oregon to the world is more important than ever. All of our programs have gone virtual due to COVID-19 and we are looking for volunteers to join us in this new space and help us continue to bring outstanding opportunities to our community. We look forward to the day when we can resume in-person programs.
