College Possible

Making College Admission and Success Possible for Low-Income Students

We are dedicated to empowering students from low-income backgrounds to become college graduates. Overall, College Possible students are three times more likely to earn a college degree than their low-income peers.

What We Do

Through an intensive curriculum of near-peer coaching and support, College Possible students receive the tools and resources they need to earn admission to college and graduate. Since its founding in 2000, 99% of College Possible students have been admitted to college. In Oregon, we're supporting 1,598 students in seven Portland-metro area high schools, eight high schools throughout the state of Oregon and at 99 different colleges and universities.

There's no shortage of places to invest your time, talent and resources right now. We invite you to learn a little more about College Possible and our incredible students because we believe that they are the future worth investing in. Our graduates will be the ones to create the change we so desperately need. Students come from underserved backgrounds and have faced immense challenges, yet they continue to persevere, work hard and fight the systemic injustices of higher education in order to create a more equitable and just community. I hope you'll join us and get involved in this critical work.
