A GME Program resident or fellow can purchase one In Program Offer policy any time during residency until the last program year at sponsoring institution. Coverage provided through an In Program Offer policy is separate from and in addition to long term disability insurance coverage issued by an institution.
Platinum Advantage for GME is currently not available in California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Montana, New York, North Dakota and South Dakota. See the Protector+ for GME page for those states.
