Producers new to working with The Standard must submit all contracting paperwork after the offer letter has been signed by the institution but before submitting applications.
Note that some states allow producer appointment backdating while others allow producers to be appointed shortly after signing applications. If an application is noncompliant because of an appointment issue, a new application must be submitted to The Standard.
Signing producers must be licensed and appointed in the states in which they will be taking and placing applications. Please indicate on the Producer Information Report submitted with each application whether commissions are split between two or more producers.
