Special Opportunity for Members Making Big Life Changes

Members who experience a qualifying family status change event within the last 60 days have a special opportunity to apply for CTA-endorsed Disability and up to $400,000 of CTA-endorsed Life insurance¹without answering health questions.² If they already have coverage with The Standard, this is their chance to increase or update their coverage levels.

Eligible Family Status Changes

Your marriage, divorce, or legal separation, or initiation or dissolution of your domestic partner relationship
The birth of your child
The adoption of a child by you
The death of your spouse/domestic partner and/or child
The commencement or termination of your spouse/domestic partner's employment
A change in employment from full-time to part-time by you or your spouse/domestic partner
