Get to Know Suzanne

I am a mom and daughter of SPED teachers.  While I chose the insurance industry as my career, I did not venture to far from the teaching world.  I have worked over 30 years with CTA endorsed insurance providers.  When you call The Standard you will immediately experience the difference in our culture.  Our teams are natural helpers.  “We Care” is more than just a slogan with The Standard. We walk the talk. I feel very blessed to work with many of you over the years and hope to meet those of you, new to CTA. Please come by and visit with me at a SCC meeting, new hire event or CTA conference.

Opportunities for CTA Members to Apply

Learn more on ways CTA members can apply for CTA-endorsed coverage with no health questions asked.
Newly hired CTA members have 270 days from starting work to apply for CTA-endorsed Disability insurance and up to $400,000 of CTA-endorsed Life insurance¹ without answering health questions.
Members who changed school districts and apply within 270 days of starting work have the opportunity to continue their existing coverage or they can apply for CTA-endorsed Disability or Life insurance.
A special enrollment campaign is a great way to give all eligible members of your association a chance to enroll in CTA-endorsed Disability and Life insurance. All campaigns start on either the 1st or 15th of the month and typically last for 30 days.
CTA members who experience a change in family status, such as getting married or having a child, have 60 days following a qualifying event to apply for CTA-endorsed Disability insurance and/or up to $400,000 of CTA-endorsed Life insurance.¹
