Long Term Disability

 

Long Term Disability (LTD) insurance is designed to pay a monthly benefit to you in the event you cannot work because of a covered illness or injury. This LTD benefit replaces a portion of your income, helping you to meet your financial commitments in a time of need.

You are eligible if you are a regular employee of Multnomah County, actively working at least 20 hours each week. Some classifications are excluded, such as employees who are on-call, elected officials, temporary (other than temporary management group), interns seasonal employees, independent contractors, and others.
