New accident insurance plans can provide much-needed support to employees who may have gaps in health coverage. The new products can cover a range of different types of treatment and can either be employer-paid or employee-paid. Employers make the choices about what benefits to offer, but employees make the decision about what is best for themselves or their families, says Danielle Lehman, a senior marketing product manager at The Standard.
