Absence Management Services from The Standard provide you with fair and consistent leave management that complies with state and federal regulations. The Standard's comprehensive Absence Management program makes it easy to track a broad range of approved leaves from work. Services that you have elected from The Standard include:

FML (Family Medical Leave): Includes all of Federal & State leaves.

LOA (Leave of Absence): Includes military, bereavement, jury duty, voting, employer specific leaves and other incidental time off work.

PTO (Part Time Off): Includes vacation, holiday, sick and other employer specific paid time off.

Benefit Contribution Deduction

The Benefit Contribution Deduction service from The Standard withholds employee benefit contributions from a claimant's Long Term Disability (LTD) or Short Term Disability(STD) benefit checks, which helps reduce employers payroll administration burdens. This is accomplished by The Standard accumulating withholdings from LTD and STD claim payments, and remitting a check to the policyholder to pay all claimants' insurance and non-insurance coverages and benefits.
