The Standard’s New Virtual Lunch Program Supports Feeding America

At The Standard, regular check-ins with retirement plan advisors are a way to provide client and practice management support and resources. During the month of May, each virtual lunch meeting between The Standard and a retirement plan advisor will deliver an extra benefit: a $25 donation to Feeding America.

With more Americans facing unemployment and food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Standard continues to seek ways to support our communities, said Rob Baumgarten, vice president of Retirement Plan sales at The Standard. “This program helps us connect with our advisor partners and provides much needed food and funds to food banks across the U.S.”

The Standard Charitable Giving Foundation is also contributing to virus relief efforts.

The Feeding America website provides more information on the urgent need for support, including a link for personal donations to their COVID-19 Response Fund.

Advisors who are interested in scheduling a lunch and learn teleconference are encouraged to contact their regional retirement plan consultant.
