Saving for Retirement is Top Financial Concern

Saving for retirement is the top financial concern for 70 percent of employees, according to a study by The Standard. But only 33 percent are confident about their level of retirement readiness.

"Saving for retirement outweighs other priorities," said Chris Dugan, director of retirement plan communications for The Standard. "Advisors and employers must do what they can to support employee retirement readiness."

How can employers help? By making a few small but effective changes to their retirement plans. Adding automatic features and providing personalized advice are options.
