More people take time off from work to care for a sick family member than for the birth or adoption of a child.1 That’s why we include our exclusive Family Care Benefit with Platinum Advantage policies.2

The Family Care Benefit provides total payments in an amount equal to six times the basic monthly benefit if the covered individual is working 20% fewer hours and has at least a 20% loss of income due to caring for a family member. This can help reduce the financial impact of income loss and medical expenses that can occur.
