Preferred Occupation Discount for Managers

Give managers working in 5A occupations an extra 10% off Platinum Advantage with the Preferred Occupation Discount. Starting Thursday, Nov. 11, in-office managers with no manual duties earning $75,000 or more will be eligible for the Preferred Occupation Discount.

Please note, managers working in the following roles will not be eligible for this discount:

• Sales
• Computer science/IT
• Consultants
• Insurance producers, financial advisors and financial planners

Preferred Occupation Discount

The discount provides 10% savings on Platinum Advantage to several 5A occupations, such as:

• Actuaries (Fellow or MAAA)
• CPAs
• Data Scientists with master's degree or Ph.D.
• Engineers with professional engineering license or degree 
• Executives earning at least $75,000/year each of the last 2 years, 3 years in the same occupation
• Managers/Other Office Workers with managerial duties and no manual duties, earning at least $75,000/year each of the last 2 years, 3 years in the same occupation
• Ph.D. Economists
• Ph.D. Scientists (office and laboratory duties only)
