Preparing Clients for Employees With Long COVID

Millions of Americans have become sick with COVID-19. Many continue to suffer from health issues long after their initial diagnosis. Those who have ongoing or new symptoms that develop at least four weeks after infection are experiencing Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC), or what is commonly called “Long COVID.”

Employees with Long COVID may become one of the largest groups of workers who your clients may need to accommodate. If so, your clients will need to come up to speed to understand Long COVID conditions, and have the right resources in place when their employees disclose a condition.

To learn more about how you can help clients who have employees struggling with PASC, our experts at The Standard wrote this Benefits Pro article.
