Coming Soon -- RMD Notifications

It’s time for our annual reminder that we’ll be mailing required minimum distribution notifications by the end of January.

We send a packet of information and forms to:

  • Contract owners for whom 2022 is the first year that minimum distributions are required
  • Individuals who have reached 72 but have not elected to receive automatic distributions
  • Owners subject to these requirements who are receiving payouts via an option other than RMD, such as scheduled interest paid as earned

For individuals already set up to receive RMDs, we’ll send a letter disclosing their 2022 RMD amount as of Dec. 31, 2021.
