Get Ready for Your Online Correspondence

Last month, you received information that we are shifting the majority of IDI policy correspondence to FilesAnywhere, an online, cloud-based file sharing and retrieval system.

Your agency’s correspondence will move to FilesAnywhere on Monday, March 27

Let’s make sure you’re prepared!

What’s changing?

Instead of mailing, you’ll have electronic, daily delivery of policy correspondence. We'll automate most outgoing letters and correspondence for IDI using FilesAnywhere. This will reduce paper usage and cut delays due to mailing. And your agency can easily find and download what you’re looking for ― in less time.

  • Here’s your guide to using, understanding, sorting and downloading items in FilesAnywhere.
  • You can sort and preview files. This allows you to find and preview letters that allow your agency to act on increases or other policy changes that generate premium.
  • The system deletes documents older than 30 days. If there are letters you want to keep, make sure to download them to your agency’s file system. For letters you don’t need to keep, let the system automatically delete them.
  • Your agency may not receive correspondence each day and may not receive any items on the first day FilesAnywhere is active. The system delivers your correspondence by 5 p.m. Pacific on weekdays.

Your agency may still receive a few documents by mail, including list bills and EFT notifications.

Do We Have Your Agency Email?

Last week, you received message from us requesting an email address for your agency. If you haven’t responded, please email DIChanges@Standard.com promptly with your agency name and number, and email address.

Do a Test Run

You’ll receive your FilesAnywhere link and password next week in separate emails. Make sure to test your link and bookmark it for frequent accessibility. Keep your password in a secure location.

You’ll have access to a test folder containing the Getting Your Digital Correspondence interactive brochure. You can use it to get familiar with FilesAnywhere.

What’s Next

We’ll send an announcement when FilesAnywhere goes live for your correspondence.

If you still have concerns, please contact your sales consultant.
