The Standard Appoints Chris Brock as Pension Consultant in Houston

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--StanCorp Equities, Inc. ("The Standard"), a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: SFG), is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Brock as a pension consultant in the Houston, Texas Retirement Plans Office.

Brock has worked in the retirement plan services industry for more than 10 years. Prior to joining The Standard, he served in a variety of roles at AIM Distributors and also worked as a financial advisor with Smith Barney. Most recently, he served as regional sales director for the retirement services division of American United Life Insurance Company® (AUL).

Brock graduated from Texas Tech University, majoring in Business Administration. He holds a Series 6, 7, 26, 63 and 65 securities license and is a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS).
