Quick Sales Tip: Automatic Maximum Benefit Increase

Looking for a convenient LTD benefit to offer your clients? Ask your Sales Rep about including the Automatic Maximum Benefit Increase (AMBI) in your next LTD quote.

How it works
AMBI can be included at no load to the pricing of the plan and will increase the LTD maximum benefit by 5% of the previous plan year's (compounded) maximum or 5% of the original maximum. The automatic increases occur annually for five years or until the plan's maximum benefit reaches $25,000 ($10,000 for physicians and attorneys).

How it's positioned

How it can help you
By including AMBI with your quote from The Standard, your client will likely view you as a forward-thinking, disability savvy consultant who recommends only the best employee benefits. By strengthening the client relationship and establishing yourself as a trusted adviser, you also may gain some protection from competitors who try to AOR (Agent of Record) on price.
