To enroll for Life and AD&D and STD coverage, newly eligible employees should complete the enrollment process through the Hennepin County Apex Employee Self Service Portal. Current benefit eligible employees, go to the Hennepin County Benefits Unit website for instructions.
Remember, even though LTD coverage is an automatic benefit you still need to elect the coverage through the APEX Employee Self-Service Portal. You are eligible for LTD insurance coverage on the first day of the pay period following 30 days as an eligible employee, unless you waive your participation.
