Todd Petersen Promoted To Second VP And Associate Actuary

We're proud to announce a key promotion: Todd Petersen was appointed 2nd vice president and associate actuary and will continue to lead IDI's Actuarial Department. Todd joined The Standard in 2006 as director and assistant actuary in Individual Disability Insurance, leading and managing the IDI Actuarial Department. He recently earned his Master of Business Administration from Auburn University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

"Todd has grown into increasingly larger roles in IDI, involving actuarial and line leadership, as well as operations," noted Dawn McMaster, assistant vice president of Individual Disability Insurance. "Over the past two years Todd has spent significant time helping develop the IDI three-year financial plans, and his contributions have been a major driver in the success of the business."
