Steve Brady Receives Prestigious Disability Insurance Industry Award
In case you missed the news, Steve Brady, 2nd vice president of Individual Disability Insurance Sales and Marketing at The Standard, was named the 2011 recipient of the W. Harold Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award by the International DI Society. Steve is just the sixth person to receive this distinction.
Steve was presented his award by Craig Gussin, president of the International DI Society, and W. Harold Petersen, an industry legend and the award's namesake. Gussin noted that Brady's "ambition, innovation and dedication to customer service make him a key player in the industry and community."
Steve commented, "I first met Harold Peterson in 1984 and got goose bumps hearing what Harold had done for the industry. I hoped that I might make similar contributions and speak with such persuasion." This award recognizes Steve's achievement of both goals.
