A Case Of Unverified Documentation
The integrity of documentation used in the analysis of any insurance transaction, whether relating to applications, claims, underwriting or premium payments, is an important component for insurance producers and employees to consider. Paying close attention to document integrity minimizes the risk the producer or the company will succumb to a fraudulent transaction. When producers and insurance company employees encounter suspicious documentation, they should contact The Standard's Special Investigations Unit (SIU). The following case illustrates the point.

It's an eye-opening statistic which may not come as such a surprise when you consider that only 17 percent of employers offer vision plans. The need is clear. Sixty-three percent of Americans say they would sign up for vision care coverage if given the opportunity.
