The Standard's Fixed Annuities Made Barron's Top Five
I hope you noticed the recent Barron's magazine article that listed two of The Standard's annuities products in their top 25 recommended picks. In the category of deferred payment, indexed annuities, our product ranked second based on a five-year average return. Under deferred fixed annuity with a five-year guarantee, we made the top five. Erin Whitaker, who joined us in December 2010, started her tenure with The Standard in our dental department in 2006.
