| In response to your request, The Standard is pleased to announce that for states requiring a Replacement Notice (a/k/a Replacement of Coverage form), the form is now included in the application packet. This will reduce the number of noncompliant applications and speed up the processing of new business—a benefit to both you and your customers. | |
| We've made it easier for you | |
| Twenty-three states require a completed Replacement Notice for any applicant intending to replace insurance currently in force. The form is required whether or not the coverage being replaced is with another company or with The Standard. The Replacement Notice should not be included when the coverage applied for does not replace existing coverage. The form is now part of the following states' application packets: | |

| For the above states, please discard existing application packets | |
| Please discard old applications packets (paper or electronic) and obtain the new application packet for your state from the producer IDI website at www.standard.com/di. (Choose Forms/Application Forms from the menu bar.) The form will continue to be available separate from application packets, as another option to you. | |
