This worldwide assistance service is available to plan participants whenever they are traveling 100 miles or more from home or when traveling in a foreign country for trips of up to 90 days.
This service is designed to help beneficiaries understand their current financial situation and provide guidance in completing a financial plan. This service is also available to employees receiving an accelerated benefit or qualified disability benefit.
Employees may add or change their dependent coverages within 31 days following a family status change (e.g., marriage, divorce, birth/adoption of a child). Evidence of Insurability requirements will be waived for dependent coverages in the event of a qualifying family status change.
This benefit provides a portion of the Life insurance benefit (up to 80%) to an insured employee who is terminally ill.
An additional benefit of up to $5,000 to pay expenses related to transporting the remains of an employee who dies more than 200 miles from their primary residence.

This provision provides a monthly benefit - $150 for each eligible student, with a maximum of $600 per month for all eligible students - for disabled employees who have children or a spouse who are registered, and in full-time attendance, at a licensed or accredited educational institution beyond high school.
A Survivor Benefit can help to address a family's financial need in the event of the disabled employee's death by paying a lump sum equal to three times the employee's unreduced disability benefit to eligible survivors.
