Congratulations on your retirement. As a retiree of Broward County, you have the option of continuing your Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance that was in effect prior to your date of retirement under the Retiree Life Insurance plan through self-pay directly to The Standard.
To determine your cost, begin by completing the information below. Note, all late applications and requests for coverage increases are subject to medical underwriting approval. If evidence of insurability is required, complete and submit a Medical History Statement. Evidence of insurability is also required for reinstatement of terminated coverage and for members eligible but not insured under prior life insurance plans.
